Roxy von Ravensburg is a beautiful 12 month old red and black German Shepherd. Supposedly AKC registered, her prior owner got her from a breeder, but fell on hard times and was living in his car. Roxy had a beautiful long coat but he trimmed it thinking it would help her keep cool.  After a few days to adjust, Roxy has already put her past behind her and decided it's time for some fun. She has a joyful spirit that makes her impossible not to love. Sweet and upbeat, she has gotten along well with people and children (though she should have a home with no cats).  She is housebroken and crate trained, does great in the car and yard, and already knows basic commands like "sit," "lay down," and "stay."  Roxy thrives in doggy playgroups at the rescue where she loves to mingle, initiate play bows, and chase other playful dogs. While she can be enthusiastic and sometimes barks on leash when excited to meet other pups, she's in training for this and settles with reminders, then happily greets the dogs and walks nicely alongside them. Roxy is a fun and happy girl for anyone seeking an active, affectionate friend.
